Welcome to Matchday Soccer Coach ("we," "our," or "the App"). We are dedicated to safeguarding the privacy and security of soccer coaches, assistant coaches, team managers, and team data. This Privacy Policy outlines how your information is collected, used, stored, and protected across our website (matchdaysoccercoach.com) and our mobile applications.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information strictly necessary to provide team roster management, formation planning, and live match stat tracking:

• Account Information: When you register as a coach or assistant coach, we collect your email address, name, and encrypted authentication credentials.
• Team & Roster Information: Information you choose to enter regarding your team, including team name, player names, jersey numbers, positions, game dates/times, opponent names, match scores, quarter lineups, and player statistics (e.g. goals, assists, saves, and cards).
• Uploaded Files & Documents: If you utilize our OCR document scanner, images or PDFs of physical roster sheets you submit are processed solely to extract player names and numbers directly into your roster, and are never repurposed or shared.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used exclusively to operate and enhance your coaching experience:

• To authenticate you securely and protect your team data.
• To sync and display your formations, quarter lineups, and player statistics across your authorized devices.
• To allow authorized assistant coaches within your staff to collaborate on team management as designated by the primary coach.
• To provide customer support and service-related notifications.

3. Data Storage & Security

We rely on enterprise-grade infrastructure provided by Google Cloud Platform and Firebase. All communications are strictly encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS), and your data is stored in secured, access-controlled cloud databases (Cloud Firestore and Firebase Authentication).

4. Third-Party Sharing & Advertising

We do not sell, rent, trade, or monetize your personal or team data. We do not include third-party behavioral advertising networks, tracking pixels, or data broker code in our applications. Data is shared with Google Cloud infrastructure strictly as required to host and store the application.

5. Children's Privacy

Matchday Soccer Coach is a productivity and management tool intended for adult coaches, assistant coaches, and team organizers (ages 18 and older). We do not knowingly collect personal contact information directly from children under 13. Any player names and jersey numbers entered into team rosters are input solely by adult coaches for the purpose of managing youth team rotations.

6. Your Data Rights & Deletion

You retain complete control of your team data. You may edit or delete individual players, match records, or entire team configurations at any time directly from the app interface. If you wish to permanently delete your coach account and all associated data, you may submit a request at any time to our support contact below.

7. Changes to This Policy
